​​​​​​​​​​​​When do the Knights play and how long is the season?
Our fall program will begin with tryouts in August for all potential and returning players. In September, we will hold a mandatory parents' meeting.Team conditioning begins in September and official practices begin in October. 

The playing season for most teams (primarily
14u and older) begins the second week in November and culminates in early March with a National Post-Season Tournament (in Springfield, Missouri) where homeschool teams from across the country gather for a week of competition and fun.   

After the regular season and National Tournament we have opportunities for summer leagues and conditioning.

Who is eligible?

With the increase in homeschooling families and online school opportunities, one question that we often get is who is eligible to play on our teams.

OKC KNIGHTS is a Christian Homeschool Basketball organization and eligible members are players/families who: 

1. Have players who are at least 51% homeschooled. We do accept EPIC students who satisfy this requirement. 

2. Make a season long commitment to the teams, coaches, and the other Knights families.
3. Are willing and able to volunteer during games and in other events where needed.
4. Have not left another homeschool organization or school for disciplinary reasons in the last 12 months.
5. Are willing to abide by our Code of Conduct and Grievance Policy

Our age requirements are as follows:

12u teams: may not turn 13 before September 1st
Junior high (
14u) team: may not turn 15 before September 1st
High school team (
18u): may not turn 19 before September 1st

Players come from a wide area of central Oklahoma including but not limited to Edmond, Tuttle, Chandler, Blanchard, Luther, Choctaw, Norman, Moore, and OKC.  Many players carpool to/from practices and games. 

When and where are practices and games?
Our 10u-12u teams practice twice a week, and 14u and older teams practice three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday) for up to two hours. All of our teams practice at First Baptist Church of Midwest City.  

Our 10u and 12u  teams play in a league which is hosted at Santa Family Life Center (NW 63rd & Broadway Extension/I-235). ​ Our 14U, JV and Varsity teams play against schools and homeschool teams in the metro and surrounding areas. They also participate in several tournaments throughout the season.  

How much does it cost?

Our season fees cover gym costs, coaching fees, insurance, and scheduled tournaments. Uniforms are not included in

season fees - they are purchased by and are the property of the players. 

Boys Varsity/Jr. Varsity: $750

(over 100 hours of gym time, paid Varsity and JV coach, insurance, scheduled tournaments, all game film and stats available on HUDL)

Girls Varsity/Jr. Varsity: $650

(over 100 hours of gym time, paid varsity and JV coach, insurance, scheduled tournaments)

Boys and Girls Jr. High and 12u  $500

(75 -100 hours of gym time, insurance, scheduled tournaments)
